This department was established in the year 2020. The department of Computer aided Costume design and Dress making (CACDDM) is the platform to get a place in the fashion world. It is imparting training in the areas of pattern making, CAD, Design and Technology to assist the Indian Apparel industries to meet the challenges of the global market. This program imparts practical knowledge pertaining to apparel manufacturing technology. The students learn about equipment's and processes through hands on training in laboratory, classroom and through industrial visits. CACDDM is a three years diploma course especially for girls. One of the main objectives of the course is to make students familiar with functioning of garment industry as a whole. The curriculum of the course is spread over six semesters. It contains the subject like Textile Science, Pattern Making, Clothing Construction, Embroidery, Apparel Production Control, Computer Technology etc. The program offered by AICTE is designed to train students in the core garment manufacturing technology. The program prepares professionals who are capable to significantly contribute to the fashion technology domain of the industry. CACDDM is a diploma course designed for 10th passed students providing professional human resource to the textile and apparel industry. This Course is Approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated with Department of Science & Technology, Government of Bihar.
